This Wheel of the Year is entirely handcrafted. We always start with a simple plank of wood, which is then cut, engraved, painted and varnished. The whole thing is painted freehand, which can lead to slight changes from one wheel of the year to the next, making each object unique!

About Hecate

Hecate is the Greek goddess associated with the moon, witchcraft and creatures of the night. Fundamentally ambivalent (capable of both good and evil), she is depicted with three faces, or sometimes three bodies, to symbolize her role as goddess of borders and crossroads. This could also correspond to the phases of the moon: crescent, full and new.

Hecate is also associated with dogs, the underworld, ghosts and everything associated with the night and the occult. Her colors are generally black, gray and silver, and her favorite stones are moonstone, black tourmaline, quartz (smoky or not) and labradorite.
